WATCH: 'Quids in!' Eamonn Holmes mocks Rachel Reeves as inflation sticks
Eamonn Holmes joked that the nation would be “quids in for Christmas” as he reacted to news that inflation has remained at 3.8 per cent.
The GB News host said while economists had expected a rise to over four per cent, the reality still means prices remain painfully high for families.
He said: “Everything is more expensive. Your food, the presents you’re going to buy and we just sort of accept it as normal.”
